After I knew what I was looking for, and knew the size of the bass's perimiter I sat down and thought about features that would be a necessity. I worked out the following list:
Enter the "Neon LED Light Glow EL Wire String Strip Rope Tube + Sound Activated Controller" from ranpo-technology-k listed here. Only the 5m was available, so I got that. It has fast flash, solid on and sound react functions and small enough to fit on my belt where it can be easily accessed and uses AAA batteries so its great and exactly what I needed, so I ordered it.
You can see the expected delivery date range on the calendar to keep updated. Until it is delivered I will be putting up random ideas I get with mounting of the Neon tube to the bass.
- Had to be at least 3m long to fit around the bass.
- Had to be battery powered to add portability to the project.
- The controller needed a flash function (either fast or slow), solid on, and sound react function
- The controller needed to be attached to the back or side of the guitar, or include a belt strap to easily change modes and small enough to be hidden.
