Measuring of the Bass Guitar

For working out the sizing of the guitar, my first thought was using a tape measure and working my way around the bass but this turned out to be a struggle as of how in-flexible the tape measure is with small curves. I then taped small strips of paper together much longer than I actually required for the bass and worked my way around the bass, taping the paper down at each curve to make sure the paper fit all along the guitar. After the length was determined I worked out the length of the paper by folding it 8 times, measuring the paper's length and multiplying it by 8. This turned out to be about 302 cm or almost 3 meters.
